HOWLAND - The SAD 31 board of directors hopes to hear Wednesday from attorneys about whether legally challenging a state decision denying approval of its proposed $8.9 million secondary school is a good idea, the board's chairman said Monday.

Attorney Bruce W. Smith of Portland is due to finish his review of the Maine Board of Education's 7-2 vote by Wednesday's 7 p.m. board workshop meeting, Chairman John Neel said. The public is invited.
