BANGOR - The final counts are in, and salmon in the Penobscot River are continuing their recent recovery.
By the end of the annual migration this fall, 1,323 adult salmon had been counted at the Veazie Dam salmon trap as the fish made their way upstream to spawn, according to Joan Trial, a fisheries biologist at the Maine Atlantic Salmon Commission.See the full content of this document
