MACHIASPORT - Workers at the Atlantic Salmon of Maine processing facility learned Tuesday that the plant will not shut down on June 30 after all.
Cooke Aquaculture, the Canadian aquaculture giant that purchased the facility in April, had told the plant's remaining 19 workers two months ago that June 30 likely would be their last day on the job.See the full content of this document
