BANGOR - A Millinocket man was sentenced Thursday to serve 10 years in prison for what a Penobscot County prosecutor described as a major crime spree last year that included robbing a 60-year-old woman at knifepoint and stealing a man's life savings.

Jason Cummings, 21, was sentenced to 15 years in prison with all but 10 years suspended for the felony robbery charge and to six years in prison on each of two counts of felony burglary and four years on each of two other counts of felony burglary, all to be served concurrently.
