Summary
On Sept. 16, I was sitting in the Bangor Bureau of Motor Vehicle office. I arrived at 8:30 a.m. and for the next 21/2 hours waited to register a recently purchased 1995 Ford.
It was ironic that I read the article, "Secretary grilled on long waits at BMV" (BDN, Sept. 16). The Legislature's transportation committee was grilling Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap. I thought rather than sitting in committee grilling Dunlap, I would suggest the committee go to an understaffed BMV branch and observe the friendly, helpful and efficient service.See the full content of this document
