Summary
In reply to Layne Weir's letter "Cyclists should yield" (BDN, June 7) that roads are built for cars: Roads are built for all, motorized and nonmotorized. The vast majority of cyclists own multiple cars as well, pay the same taxes and know what it is like to share a car or bike on the road.
For the minority, who only own a bike, thanks for not contributing to pollution and for trying to stay healthy. For those who never use a bike, it should be tried in order to better understand the perspective of the rider.See the full content of this document
