Man in Stolen Tractor-Trailer Chase Indicted

Summary


BANGOR - An Orono man who last month allegedly stole a tractor- trailer from Dysart's Truck Stop in Hermon and led police on a chase through Bangor, Veazie and Orono was indicted Monday by the Penobscot County grand jury.

Lee Harold Meservie, 42, was indicted on charges of theft by unauthorized taking, aggravated criminal mischief, eluding an officer, three counts of passing a roadblock, seven counts of reckless conduct, failure to stop for an officer, driving to endanger and two counts of unauthorized use of property.
