Book Sale, Supper to Benefit Firefighter's Recovery

Summary


Many efforts are under way to assist with expenses related to the recovery of Lance Sanborn, a firefighter-paramedic from Bucksport who was involved in an automobile accident in February, according to information forwarded to me by Terry Grindle of the Bucksport Fire Department.

Those efforts include the offer by Andy Lacher, owner of BookStacks in Bucksport, to donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of 23 copies of "Building the Penobscot Narrows Bridge," to Lance and his wife, Kim Sanborn.
