Concerning Bangor High School banning all nuts and peanut products: I am the parent of the student in question. I would like everyone to know that I understand that this is a sensitive issue and I regret any animosity it may have caused.
I am sorry that this has caused such controversy and turmoil in the community. I understand that it is a huge inconvenience to many involved. Yet, this is about a child's safety. This allergy is so severe that this request by Bangor High School is totally founded.
