Readers occasionally write to express frustration with the sloppy writing they sometimes encounter in various periodicals, including the newspaper you are presently perusing.

Penny LeVasseur, of Caribou, wonders if she has spotted a trend by reporters and editors to just "git 'er done," as Larry, The Cable Guy, would put it, without attention to sentence structure, use of the proper word, or punctuation. Daniel Orr is dismayed to often see "importantly" used, where "important" should be the choice. Dr. Donald Clough is bothered when people use "nauseous" when they mean "nauseated."
