BANGOR - Members of the Maine AFL-CIO stressed the need for universal health care coverage in a series of discussions and proposed resolutions during the first of its three-day biennial convention at the Ramada Inn.
Maine unions that are members of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations sent about 110 representatives to the convention to discuss news pertaining to the labor community.
