Summary
Why, at this time, change the name of Bangor Mental Health Institute to the Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center (BDN, Sept. 2)? This does not help the patients at BMHI one iota. It seems like just another way to have a big luncheon spread with a fancy cake, and a chance to throw away moneyto make a big new sign.
Publicity could better be given to other things besides a big party; lawmakers should be devising ways to help people instead of throwing parties for themselves to gain the spotlight while thinking up useless name changes for old standbys.See the full content of this document
