AURORA - The Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a Veterans Day hunters supper at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Aurora School, Great Pond Road.

BANGOR-BREWER - Veterans Day parade, 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, from Brewer Shopping Plaza, Wilson Street. Led by Gov. John Baldacci, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Purple Heart recipients and other veterans groups, down Wilson Street, across Chamberlain Bridge to Bangor, down Main Street to reviewing stand at Broad Street. Brief ceremony, then parade continues up State Street and takes a right onto Exchange Street to disband, finishing about 11:30 a.m. Before parade, marchers may wait inside Advance Auto Parts, Wilson Street. Veterans may ride in buses provided by First Student Bus. Veterans may leave vehicles at Exchange Street parking lot of TD Banknorth in Bangor and take bus to Brewer before 9:30 a.m., or leave vehicles in the Brewer Hannaford parking lot and ride buses back to Brewer after parade.
