HOULTON - Jim Burton acknowledged Friday that some people still refer to the Korean War as "the forgotten war."

"It was sandwiched in between World War II and Vietnam," he said, speaking of the war that killed some 54,000 U.S. troops between 1950 and 1953. "I think that some people do tend to forget about it."
