ELLSWORTH - The Ellsworth Business and Professional Women and the Hancock County American Association of University Women will co- sponsor a public forum on TABOR. The debate will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, in the Ellsworth City Hall auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
Tom Zimmerman of the Citizen's Alliance of Maine will speak in favor of TABOR. Speaking against TABOR will be Nancy Kelleher, the state director of Advocacy for AARP of Maine. Each speaker will read a 10-minute statement supporting their positions, which will be followed by a three-minute rebuttal by the opposing speaker.See the full content of this document
